Schooling was established in Bobs Farm in 1918 when the first enrolments were accepted on the 22nd July of that year.
The original building, situated at Tolimba (1901 - 13), on the Cabbage Tree Road between Williamtown and Tomago, had been dismantled, rafted down Tilligerry Creek and up along the drains, hauled by bullock power to the present site and re-erected.
It was known as the Provisional School of Lower Anna Bay until September 1919, when its name was changed to Bobs Farm - at about the same time as the Post Office was opened near Upton's Store. It became a public school in January, 1932.
Unfortunately the building fell victim to white ants and was replaced by the present building, which was erected in 1928
